I'm a Registered Yoga Teacher (200 RYT). I trained in Thailand to teach Hatha, Vinyasa and Yin Yoga. I'm also an experienced climber and teach Yoga specifically for climbers.


Why Yoga?

What is so appealing to me about yoga is that it is so much more than a physical activity - It's also a mental and a spiritual one. The mind-body connection and spirituality aspect of the practise was the one that I rejected at first, but when I opened myself to it, I realised that it's nothing weirder than shifting your view on the way you do things. In that sense, yoga isn't about achieving those Instagram poses perfectly, but rather being ok with your body and mind in the present moment, and enjoying the journey rather than the destination.

Yoga has been proved to have positive effects on the body and mind and the scientific evidence supporting yoga's benefit continues to grow. Of course yoga affects the muscular system, but research has shown that practising yoga affects all body systems (nervous, endocrine, respiratory, cardiovascular, lymphatic, digestive, urinary, reproductive and integumentary).

As with climbing, yoga has become part of my lifestyle and helps me grow and lead a happier, more fullfilled life. And I hope I can pass on the power of yoga to YOU!




8-9am - Yoga for climbers at Westway Sports Centre

This class is a Vinyasa style class designed to improve your flexibility and strength for climbing, as well as work on inbalances that climbers may have in their bodies.

To book on to a session, please book directly with Westway Climbing, as access to the class is included in your normal climbing entry.

11am-12pm - Yoga for mature climbers at Westway Sports Centre

This is a gentle yoga class aimed at 55yo+ climbers.

£5 per class. To book on to a session, please book directly with Westway Climbing.

Privates are a great way to tailor the practice to your own lifestyle and body. We can work on specific areas and adapt each session to how you feel of that day.
